Stainless steel spiral conveyor belts — universally known as balanced weave conveyor belts — are the most widely used metal mesh belts in automated material handling. Alternating left-hand and right-hand mesh spirals, tightly interwoven and interconnected by straight or crimped cross rods, provide an exceptionally stable, flexible and high-tensile surface.

The alternating spiral design self-centers — lateral forces cancel out, so the belt tracks straight without guides. Combined with -100°C to 1150°C range and flexible drive options, it fits more processes than any other weave.
